“Dearest Friend”

You hear the song within the depths of who i am;

should i become lost in the shadows,

sing it to me so i can find where i am

“Beyound the Veil”

Many live in the world shrouded in the veils of illusion;

Like sea creatures baited into captivity, escape becomes improbable

And the path to enlightenment is traveled by few.

“Ignorance or Awareness”

One without knowledge of their spirit is as a wild beast

who sleeps, hunts and devours; One with knowledge of

their sublime being, enjoys the fragrance and beauty of

the garden unseen; and drinks from the waters of the eternal fountain.

“Unseen Light”

One may seek the radiant splendor of the palace of light;

to dwell there we must seek the light within us.

The Source of All Universes is more than all creation.

This Light pierces all of existence from within and without.

A Light that is not fathomed by the mind; but known by the heart;

The month of abstention is waning. An anticipated annual event fades reluctantly into our memories. The voices of sincere souls cry in the night in silence. Beings realign themselves and connect to The Majestic Grand Incomprehensible. Let Divine Mercy be bestowed on our ancestors. Let peace be upon the hearts of our parents and forgiveness to their immortal essence be their reward. Let our hearts see the unity of mankind and all those who share this temporary place are worthy of dignity and kindness. Kindness is too, standing for justice. Our voices lift up to to The Unseen Reality imploring for justice to be restored in our souls. The supplicants’ pleas give birth to hope, dignity and justice on earth.

The face of the moon is expanding and these moments of consecration and reflection intensify. Across the seas, upon the mountains and through the valley fragile beings whisper flood the heavens. Hearts guide the mind to stillness. The Absolute Known’s awareness is perceived; hearts claim back a heritage of virtue lost in the ignorance of unbridled acquisition and gain. Souls restore their dignity; reclaim the light of their birthright.
On bended knee, souls reach heavenward, faces are buried to the earth; the faithful are seeking refuge and solace in The Reality Beyond this world. Let our intention be pure and our acts filled with your grace. Let us awaken from the slumber of our slothfulness in the reservation of compassion. In the quietude of meditation and prayer we recognize what is greater than ourselves. Thus we are rejuvenated by humility.

The tiny sliver of light is now I shining orb in the sky, these are the signs rehearsed from the heavens capturing the minds of the ancient and ours today. These are the days of repentance and reflection. The fire we have brought to our souls is watered by sincere generosity. Our command is to give the best of who we are and from what we have. These are the days of abstention and help; freely we give to the least among us.
Let the wealth of our supplication be guided, The Perfect Guide. The hearts of those who now embrace truth are fortified by this heavenly embrace. These are the days of regret and reflection that foster faith and hope.

These are days of renouncing our desires. We resign from the temporary life seeking the gate of blissful eternity. The faint chorus of our heart has begun to crescendo. These are moments of resignation fully realizing that our mortal breath is a delicate and flimsy thing. The power of this life force is for tending the garden of our heart. The Perfect Word floods our consciousness and flows from the heart to the tongue; Divine water making fertile the garden of our soul. The Source of All Wisdom and Love embraces solitary beings in the death of the night.

Now time is gaining speed and the shadows of the night reshapes the shining orb high in the first heaven. This sacred trust renewed is heralded in each breath; keeping of our trust is gained here in this abode of abstention; we are awakened and changed. The victory we seek is beyond the definitions of temporal space; hearts fill with love of the Eternal Glorious Divine. Our senses we have silenced in this place; our hearts belief keeps us forever safe.

Ramadhaan 13-15 [September 13-15, 2008]

The sacred trust before time is to The One who brought about existence and forms, The Perfectly Aware and Omniscient. This is a matter of knowing hearts that awaken. In these days of reflection; one may consider how well we have kept our trust. Are our hearts filled with fairness or have we betrayed our souls? In this time of quietude and renewal compassion grows within, mercy resonates in our perceptions and forgiveness of error understood. Who lives among humanity without error? Contrite hearts enter the sanctuary of repentance; an inner reflection that leads to renewal and rebirth. Again, born into the realization and vision of radiating light upon a world through our actions. The ancient words echo throughout the worlds, we seek alignment of our thoughts and desires with the well being of all. This journey in understanding leads us away from oppressing neither our souls nor any soul. The trust forsaken is regained.

This is the month of a thousand nights; sleepless nights to fill the treasury of our eternity. What deeds weigh on the scale of karmic justice? Now is the time to rediscover the path hidden beyond the shroud of the mundane; live for goodness through kindness and to stand for justice. Yes, this is the opportunity to restore the light in the essence of our being.

The best of our hope is affirming our ancient promise; a promise known by the soul and forgotten by the mind. Truly this soul is a portent of The Eternal Infinite Self Subsistence Existence. This unmeasured infinitesimal essence faintly glimmers in the darkness of this mortal vessel. Restricted and free; longing for The Unceasing Reality. Without anguished we seek escape the mundane sustenance for that which flows unseen throughout all there is; that which lights the lamp placed within the niche of this mortal being.

In this we renew awareness of an ancient promise. Souls whom neglect a sacred trust return to a place of quietude and remember. Remember The Reality beyond temporal space and we seek Thy Eternal Face, of The Safety and Security, that is. That which decays cannot discover the homeland of origin and bliss.

In these of our days of abstention that fade into the glorious and powerful nights. These are the days of remembrance; when hearts are opened and tongues cease to wag. These are moments most precious, infinite suspended moments in time. They will past quickly; will we remain conscious of the Pure Eternal Divine. These are the nights that draw wakefulness from souls seeking the face of Pure Light. The nights darkness bright outshines the day. Voices of the heart lift in supplication, receiving The Grace of Truth. Somber minds, gladdened hearts yearn for The Eternal Infinite Light; these nights.

1. The Source of all wealth flows through me. The Source of creativity flows through me. My inspired
creativeness is without obstacle. Wealth and creativity are manifest in me.

2. Inspired thoughts abundantly resonate in my mind.
The bounty of my mind is without obstacle or limit.

3. The desires and needs of the world manifest through me.
The desires and needs of the world, I see and fulfill.

4. This is; as I am a vessel for the Divine Source.
The radiance of love, the radiance of creativity emanate through me.

5. This is; as I am a vessel for the Divine Source,
The radiance of prosperity, the radiance of love emanates through me;

6. This is; for I am a vessel for the Divine Source,
The Source of Goodness flows within me and calls out to knowing hearts.

7. Kindness and appreciation surrounds me wherever I am.
Wealth is clear and evident with me; as I help other achieve their dreams and desires.

8. The vision within me and through me blesses all things.
Virtue and dignity radiate within me and all that I do.

9. The Expression of the Supreme Divine is within and all about me;
The Divine Source is within each breath I take; in this I am complete.

10. The radiance of prosperity, the radiance of love emanates through me;
This is; as I am a vessel for the Divine Source, whom is L.O.V.E.*

Ramadhaan 4-6, 1429 AH [September 4-6,2008]

Prayer is that place of quietude within our being that activates the breath of life our soul…it enables the soul to realize its divinity; that which makes us human –the breath of GOD. This is the true nature of worship; it is the discovery and recognition of that which is The Absolute Truth [ALLAH, Al Haqq.] It is within the contemplation, reflection and resonance that is prayer; in which human beings immerse themselves in The Eternity, [ALLAH, Al Hayy.] This is the purpose of religion.

Religion is not cult or sect or mere doctrine to be argued. Nor is true religion a discourse and debate of ideology one to be glorified one over the other. Ultimately religion is prayer; that is the first cause. It is through immersion of our true nature within The First Cause [ALLAH, Al Mubid] that we discover that from which is the universal law emanates. Prayer is The Supreme Governance [ALLAH, Al Aziz’il Malik]. Prayer is The Source of All Strength [ALLAH, Al Qawi]. Prayer is the adoration of The One Whose Being is Necessary [ALLAH, Al Hayy, Al Qayyum]. Prayer is beyond posture and recitation; these forms of expression are the divine doorway; prayer of itself is a state of being.

This blessed month is a window in celestial space in which by Divine Eminence, [ALLAH, Al Mutakabbir], we may seek to reclaim our souls; living beyond our mundane nature. Now, before the mirror of our mind we once again may see ourselves and the world through the eyes of our soul. This is a month declared most sacred where what is hidden through haste can become apparent through the fast. These are the moments to discover who we truly are; moments to find that within our heart of hearts we truly exist as we are created. Through submission to The One Unknown, [ALLAH, Al Wahid] can only be known through the gateway of the heart; The Master of Infinity Beyond Measure, [ALLAH, Al Hayy ul Qayyum’ul Baqi] is The One Whom Fashions the heart and its nature [ALLAH, Al Mussawir.]

Let us pray.

And [mention] when your Lord took from the children of Adam; from their loins; their descendants and made them testify of themselves, [saying to them], Am I not your Lord?; They said; Yes, we have testified. And we are among the ancients of ancients from the age before the pen; and we gave oath to protect, to serve to submit; now we live the day of fulfillment. Lord of our Soul return us to truth You are the One Truthful, [ALLAH, Al Haqq]. We for generations dishonor our greater nature with hatred and greed. Now again, we enter this abode of abstention seeking restoration, renewal and rebirth. Lord of our Soul; You are The One Who Restores; [ALLAH, Al Mudhill.] As currents of discontent surge in the minds of men and the storms of violence stains our souls; our hearts..no heart can find rest. Lord of our Soul we retreat towards Your Presence [ALLAH, Al Qayyum] in overwhelming need of the embrace of Your Forgiveness and Mercy; [ALLAH, Al Ghafur ‘ul Raheem.]

Our blessed Prophet (sawa) taught that the people of faith reflect one another he said, “The faithful is the mirror of the faithful.” The intangible quality of faith refers to the ethereal resonance of the heart–belief and the strength of that belief. Our Lord has gifted each human being a soul. ..a portion of The Divine Creative Force [ALLAH, Al Khalaq.] This is the breath; a sublime invisible force taken for granted until the threat of its absence. In this world we see manifestations of creative but many more are hidden for the Lord our soul is ALLAH, Al Batin. In these moments of humility may we gain true submission, purer faith and become manifest with better actions by The Grace [ALLAH, Al Latif.]

Ramadhaan 1-3, 1429 AH [September 1-3,2008]

The lunar month Ramadhaan on the lunar Islamic calendar offers benefit to all of humanity as more than 20% of the worlds population begins an annual journey of inner contemplation and reflection. A time of discovery of the person we know ourselves to be with strengths and weaknesses. A time to reaffirm faith in the Unknown that is greater than ourselves. A time of pause and to understand our inner most motivations and desires. A time to uplift our consciousness; bring it into alignment withe The Pure Perfect Reality [ALLAHu, Al Quddus 'ul Hayy] It is time of rebirth, rejuvenation and renewal; one that with hope and promise we will become better beings. Inspired people working for justice, foregoing ignorance and choosing life.

Ramadhaan 1-3, 1429 AH

In the heavens a crescent of light heralds the opening of the celestial window. The faithful are called to the abode of abstention; anguish hearts need be restored; the thirsty soul can now be quenched. Hunger shall fill the belly, lips will be parched. Let the sleep that has blanketed The Radiant Light [ALAHu; An-Nur] fall away from your being; Hearts are bathed in The Radiance Hidden [ALLAHu; An-Nur ‘ul Batin] beyound the twilight. The Infinite [ALLAHu; Al Baqi] symphony of the heavens resonates on awakening souls. Mundane life is suspended as your true self is unbound by time; receive the gifts of the blessed. Discover The Great within The Greatness [ALLAHu; Al Mutakabeer], true humility brings rest.

In the Mesopotamian ruins of this new century are smoldering villages and cities reduced to rubble scorched by the sun; the stillness of prayer is shattered by bullets screaming in the air. Still the faithful answer the call to the abode of abstention. Lord [Rabb ‘il Alameen] of my soul surely my faith pales to these who are truly brave. Those of our race defenseless against our inhumanity. Technological rage unleashed in arrogant disregard of the sacred breath of life. These souls hearts cry out to Thee [ALLAH] for Thy Compassion [ALLAHu; Ar-Rahmanu Raheem;] what merit is my supplication on bended knee? Others endure such far greater sufferings; yet Thy Mercy; [ALLAHu Ar-Rahman] is for all living things.

Wounds are bleeding; hearts stop beating; souls returning; the cosmos echoes with the wailing of this small blue planet. Still the faithful answer the call to the abode of abstention. The anguish hearts need be restored; the thirsty soul can now be quenched. Because The Perfection is Sovereign and Aware; [ALLAH, Al Malik ul Raqeeb.]

ALLAH, An-Nur is The Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp enclosed in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star lit from a blessed tree, an olive neither of the East nor of the West, whose oil is well nigh luminous, though fire scarce touches it; light upon light! ALLAH doth guide whom he will to The Light. Sura An Nur,24: 35

The jeweled heavens of the late summer sky are radiant with ancient light; let us embrace our hunger and thirst; now light of the souls glimmers faintly in a billion eyes. We answer the call of atonement knowing our hope is our faith. Lord [Rabb’il Alameen] of my soul surely hearts are crying, spirits are grieving; you are The Fashioner of Hearts [ALLAHu; AL Mussawir]; heal our hearts. They are more deserving than i. If any merit be in this supplication, then grant forgiveness to them before me. Grant me this favor; You Who are The Origin and The Destiny [ALLAHu, AL Mubdi ‘ul Warith.]

Dare to dream lofty dreams; aspire to them and they will give birth to your vision. Your vision is your divine promise — a glorious ideal shaping your destiny. Your noblest ideals foreshadow what you shall be one day. You will change. What change will you unveil to the world?

Vision brings clarity; we take enormous potential and develop possibilities. We simply see what is invisible to others. Action brings possibility into probability; the outcome is by Divine Grace. Often as individuals we be cry assaults on our freedom. Freedom can only be enjoyed by the truly free. We are not truly free. We are most usually imprisoned by our own angst and desperation. Too often we live in confines of the niche we design for ourselves through limiting thoughts, negative emotions and cultural prejudices. These mental and behavioral confines obscure our vision and magnanimous possibilities become invisible.

Being visionary is answering the call to our better selves we foster the ideals that construct models of justice and fairness. The oppressed, the earth and the heavens are calling us, you and I, to be something more.

Dare to Realize to be Empowered and Actualize the Moment of your Success.

We have observed those moments when a person basks in a moment of joy and accomplishment. Many of us have experienced moments like this in our own lives. These moments of achievement do not just happen. Somewhere deep within the threshold of our being and mind we dared to believe that we could reach a lofty goal –a dream. A dream is a vision and a goal so clear in all its facets that you can picture it in your mind’s eye. It is vivid in sleep; a dream foreshadows our waking thoughts. A dream is not an illusion. Illusions are deceptions they cause one to believe something that is not true; things are not actually as they appear. A dream is very different from illusion.

A dream is not fantasy. A fantasy is a whimsical idea or fascination that no effort and true investment of self is given. Like an illusion the fantasy is a deception because no commitment or effort is put forth to bring about the achievement.

A dream is more than fantasy. A dream is more than illusion. A dream is empowering.

A dream empowers us to move forward with patience and hard work towards that we see clearly in our mind. It is an imperative that captures our heart and spirit. A dream is a precursor to a moment to be born in the reality of our experience. The dream taps our deepest desire and inspires us to take the actions necessary for its manifestation. A true dream is a prophetic moment of our life to come. When we truly dream we know that the inevitable day will come; when one’s whole being is filled with all the joy and emotion of accomplishment.

A dream is a given juncture in our life experience where our inner world –our dream and the outer world of our experience become inseparable. A dream is also a moment when what we believe and see are achieved. All too soon that moment of ebullience will become a memory. And that memory can spur us to dare to dream again. Understand and know the power of dreams and one will dare to dream again and move forward to further heights of success. Knowing that not illusion; not fantasy but dreams give birth to success.

Let’s keep hope and promise alive within us; keep knocking on those doors of opportunity; keep asking how can I serve – contribute and keep learning, living and loving. Keep yourself well and balanced. Be patient with yourself and others. These are all luminous facets of the jewels we call dreams. Dreams are alive!

Blessed to rise again from the mirror of death…returned to the world of mortality and opportunity…dear friends…on this third day of becoming active in the challenge I am reminded of what we call in our tradition…’Niyaat’…that is intention…so I reflected again upon my intention of improving the conditions of orphans.

You may ask why orphans…even more than the traditional understanding of the word, I for sometime have been concerned that several generations of children are being orphaned because parenting has become secondary to the attainment of the material…I have reflected upon the reality that often we orphan one another in our relationships…withholding empathy and compassion because our ego is bruised…bruised because of our perceptions of a certain circumstance that in the end…is rather mundane in light of the reality and value of true human bonds…the matters of the open heart.

When we as human beings suffer the loss of belonging…many emotional wounds come to bare on our lives…so orphans can be anyone who has lost there since of belonging as in losing a parent[s]. How do we regain our balance in soul-spirit, mind and body; how do we balance our selves within these vessels in which we travel this world; regain a sense of belonging.

Gandhi taught; “We must become the change we wish to see in the world.”…I ponder on how do we become that change…I am also reminded of the words of the one known as Jesus the Christ [peace be with him]who is attributed the following; “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.’’… I reflect upon how I might have failed someone in daily circumstance by not giving them just consideration…yes, how do we change…as I further reflect… I recall the salient words of Nabi Muhammad [peace be upon him] who said, “None of us has faith yet enter our hearts, until we want for others as we want for ourselves.”

Inwardly I quake as I remind myself at times how I did not fully execute the best of manner in regards to these salient and true statements…and as a solitary tear…washed my face…the voice of my thoughts whispered…”Who is it that intends bad or harm upon their self—their soul. Nay, one intends or desires to gain benefit to themselves…
Who will therefore truly want for others despite the circumstances of life’s confusion…want for all others the same…Who will purify what they intend.

As tears steadily streamed…I could not silence the whisper in my mind; …If you truly intend good for you and others…than and only then will you do unto them as yourself…thus you will be the change you wish to see in the world….dear Stranger Friends…’change happens in an instant we cease becoming and decide to be.’ We act on what we intend with full cognizance and compassion a forethought.

For those who share this blog; I respectfully receive your spirit and energy you give…if there it is benefit in these words…then the benefit is from The Source Far Greater than i…and if there is any harm in them it is not intended and I request your forgiveness of it.

The early morning hours gives way to daylight; but it is of no consequence, for the celestial space that carries me forth to you is a contradiction of boundaries;

One boundary unseen and forged in the unknown forever, another, the limits of our consciousness, and the other the chains of this corporeal form.

It is by them that you find me constricted and confined, a mute image before you; lost in rapture seeing the many worlds as for the very first time. A juxtaposition of surreal magnitude encroaches upon my sanity and frees the unlimited being — the sublime reality of who and what we are.

The intrigue of your words is now colored by your visage and thoughts skip and plunge into an abyss overwhelming.

A chasm of uncharted depths leaves one languishing for appropriate syntax and context; but every nuance of your mien – movement of your body sears itself upon my senses. The tone and resonance of your voice is now interlaced with subtle dance of your expressions and simple movements an — improvisational score of hope and promise.

Now, as a cent trillion sensations overwhelm who I am; an evolving new life mirrored back in an instant;
Millenniums pass in this moment; finally gazing upon your countenance and if not for the sensation within my breast, — I know that my existence has ceased in this world.

All the tides of the oceans are numbered in the bosom of The One Source of All, true then it is that these countless feeling of joy and completeness reside in the same time-space.

Fated souls have traversed this path before, yet this road remains unmapped for those who dare to follow; yet we dare, as we know that virtue lights the way.

Upon this ray of light we sail the sanguine waters coursing through the darkened chambers of human angst;
By grace we choose to accept this gift that is us; and by the truth of the Indescribable Known we shall take this journey.

Please consider being part of an overwhelming effort; and be a Life Hero
